WHAT WE DO
wall and floor tiling
all about
tiling your interior walls and floors
Nothing finishes off a bathroom like the tiling. We offer it as part of our bathroom fitting service if you require it, but we are also happy to take on specific tiling jobs anywhere within your home, such as in the kitchen or utility room.
Whether you need to replace a few loose tiles, lay a new floor or re-tile a whole bathroom – we make sure everything is taken care of, including removing old tiles and preparing surfaces for tiling, grouting and sealing.
We also offer advice on the best tiles for your project. There are so many variants available to buy, that making a decision may seem a little daunting. And as tiles come in all shapes, sizes and materials the product you choose must be right for the job. Some tiles, especially those manufactured from natural stone, also require sealing after application and we can advise on this and carry out any additional work required.
We aim to make the project as easy and as hassle-free as possible. And you can rest assured that, whatever your budget or requirements, we will work with you to make your new tiled area look great.
We work with homeowners in Ruddington and Langar and the surrounding areas throughout Nottinghamshire, including West Bridgford, Keyworth, Plumtree, Bunny, Edwalton, Gampston and Cotgrave.
Our wall and floor tiling services in Nottingham include:
- advice on the right type and size of tiles
- provision made for removal of waste
- site and surface preparation
- floor levelling if required
- sourcing and collection of tiles if required
- all additional materials sourced

What you may also want to know
frequently asked questions
Porcelain or ceramic tiles?
Porcelain is generally harder wearing so can be to be the better material for floors, especially in areas of high traffic like the kitchen. Ceramic is easier to maintain and doesn’t need sealing as often. However, the choice is yours and we can help you find the best tile for your project.
Are bigger tiles better?
Not always. The advantage of bigger tiles is there are fewer grout lines and they take less time to lay, meaning they can save you money on labour. However, smaller tiles can give you the added wow factor. Your decision may also be steered by factors such as the surface the tiles are going onto – some walls may not be able to bear the weight of bigger tiles. We can talk through your ideas and make suggestions as to what is suitable for your project.
My grout is mouldy. Why?
Regularly cleaning your grout is recommended , especially in a bathroom. But if you do spot mould, this could be down to several factors. Hardness of water, ventilation, or even an ingress of water can cause surface mould issues. It could also be down to the type of grout used. We always use a high-quality grout which is treated to prevent mould issues. If you have a mould issue and would like some advice, just get in touch.
